MCFARLANE, Margaret Ann (Peggy) The McFarlane family regrets to announce the death of their sister Peggy who died peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at Sudbury Regional Hospital, Laurentian Site. Peggy was the daughter of Charles and Della McFarlane predeceased. Beloved sister of Garry (Ottawa), Pat (husband Riho) of Toronto, Bob (wife Marilyn) of Lively, Nancy of Gore Bay, and Barney of Sudbury. Beloved aunt of nieces and nephews David, Kathy, Andrew, Christopher, Maggie, Matthew, Michael and Tricia, great niece and nephew Emily and Ethan, niece of Earl Roos (wife Theresa) of Ottawa and special friend Bandit. Peggy was a well-known and appreciated teacher and Special Education consultant with the Sudbury School Board. Her role as consultant took her to remote areas of Northern Ontario and the Yukon Territories. Over the space of her career she had touched the lives of many. Peggy’s special interest was politics. She gave much of her time in the support of many campaigns for the federal and provincial Liberal parties. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit many parts of the world. At Peggy’s request there will be no visitation. A celebration of her life will take place at a future date. Donations, in her memory, to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
