DOVER—M. Jeanine Salvas, 62, of Auburn, Alabama, died Sunday, July 03, 2005, at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.She was born in Dover, N.H., the daughter of Albert and Irene (Ouellette) Salvas. She lived in Dover for a period of time before moving to Florida and then to Auburn, Alabama, where she had resided for the past 8 years. While living in Auburn, Alabama, she was a communicant of St. Michaels Church and a member of the Schola Choir at the church. She was also part of the Civic Corral Choir.Although she loved singing, classical music and the beach, her grandchildren were her life. She loved them very deeply.Family members include daughter Andrea and her husband, Jim Folmer of Auburn, Alabama; three sisters, Blanche Therrien of Somersworth, Alice and her husband, Armand Croteau of Somersworth, and Denise and her husband, Earl Handley of Dover; three grandsons, Will, Sam and Ross all of Auburn, Alabama; along with many nieces and nephews and many beloved friends in the Seacoast area and in Auburn, Alabama.Family and friends are invited to call Monday, July 4, 2005, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., in Dover. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, July 5, at St. Martins Church in Somersworth, at 9 a.m.Those who wish may make memorial donations in Jeanine's name to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
