O'DONNELL, LYDIA CHRISTINA "TEENY" The passing of Lydia Christina "Teeny" O'Donnell, wife of Willard O'Donnell, of 57 years, of McNamee, NB, occurred on August 1, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, at the age of 73. Born on October 30, 1932 in Carroll's Crossing, NB, she was a daughter of Vina (Lyons) O'Donnell and the late Johnson O'Donnell. Teeny was a retired Cook for Camp Russell as well as a Take Out operator. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, a life member of the Anglican Church Women, a member of Prayer Partners Group, a member of Unity 656 (Nashwaaksis) as well as a member of the Women's Liberal Association and a committee member of Central N.B, Self Help. Besides her husband of 57 years and her mother, she is survived by three sons, Wendell (Barbara), Edwin (Dora) and Allison (Heather) all of New Bandon; two daughters, Krista O'Donnell (Ken) of Waasis and Linda June O'Donnell (Frances) of Fredericton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, David (Vera) of New Bandon, Richard (Edith) of Doaktown, Frederick (Rose) of Doaktown and Donald (Sheila) of McNamee; two sisters, Henrietta Hood of Fredericton and Velma O'Donnell (Lawrence) of McNamee; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by three brothers, Cyril, Nathan and Jimmy. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from St. John's Anglican Church, Carroll's Crossing, on Friday, August 4, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. Andrew Fraser officiating. Pallbearers are Gilbert O'Donnell, Chris O'Donnell, Jason Swazey, Matthew Betts, George Price and Gerry Stewart. Interment will take place at St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the St. John's Anglican Church Memorial Fund, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
