PETERS, Lilian Mary (Willis) - At Marshall Gowland Manor on Thursday, June 19, 2008, Lilian Mary (Willis) Peters, age 90, of Sarnia, beloved wife of Ernest William Colin Peters for the past 65 years. Dear mother of Mary Laverty and her husband Glenn of Shelburne, Susan Whyte and her husband Andrew of Chatham, Janet Jarvela and her husband Ken of Camlachie, Davina Peters of Vancouver, B.C., Ruth Goetz and her husband William of Wyoming and Graham Peters and his wife Kim of Port Sydney, Ontario. Loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Predeceased by three brothers, Les, Frank and John Willis and a sister Isobel Thompson. Born at London, England, Mrs. Peters came to Canada as a War Bride in December 1943 and settled in New Brunswick. She moved to Ontario in 1949 and settled in Sarnia 19 years ago where she was a member of Canon Davis Memorial Anglican Church. Funeral Service will be held at Canon Davis Memorial Anglican Church (Russell and Maxwell) on Saturday, June 21st at 1:00 p.m. Interment Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Charity of Choice (cheques only please). Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME.
