WEIR, Leslie - 1944 – 2008 - The family announces with great sorrow his peaceful deathat Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday December 6, 2008 at the age of 64 years. Beloved husband of Sandra Weir; loving father of Wallace (Jennifer) Weir and Wayne (Randi) Weir all of Medicine Hat, AB; dear grandfather of Keegan, Steele, Ryker, Logan and Colton. Also survived by his parents-in-law Russell and Bessie Lauay of Cambridge, his brother-in-law Jim (Joanne) Lauay of South Porcupine, his sisters-in-law Grace Mask of Porcupine, Brenda Lauay of Timmins and Pat Mitchell (Jeff) of Cambridge and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Nellie Weir in 1944 and Andrew Weir in 1986, his adoptive parents Margaret Montgomery in 1982 and Albert Montgomery in 1996 and his brother-in-law Bill Mask in 2005. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday December 9, 2008 at the Grace Bible Chapel. Cremation will follow. Remembrance donations to the Grace Bible Chapel, the Gideon Society or a Charity of your Choice would be greatly appreciated.
