OBITUARY LESLIE GORDON "BUD" TURRIFF At home, comforted by family, in Metis Beach, QC on December 7, 2004. He was fifty-eight years of age. Bud lived a full life despite repeated bouts with cancer in the last thirteen years. He will be fondly remembered by his parents, Lorn and Winifred Turriff, his children Cindy (Ian Macdonald), Lana, and Shaun, the mother of his children Elaine (nee Adams) Turriff, his many brothers and sisters, his grandchildren Morgan and Cameron, and numerous friends and relatives. Beloved former husband of Line Garant. Bud was an active man, and a generous man, who was always ready to help those in need. Wherever he went, he made many friends. There will be a gathering on Saturday, December 11, 2004, at 2 p.m. to celebrate Bud's life at the A.S.C.M. (Town Hall), 370 rue Beach, Metis Beach, QC. Special thanks to the staff at the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, U.S.A., the staff at the Montreal Jewish General Hospital, Montreal, QC, and the staff at the Centre Mitissien de Sante et de Services Communautaires, Mont-Joli, QC.
