ST. GEORGES, Leonard Noe Joseph In loving memory of Leonard N.J. St. Georges, 80 years, of Azilda, who passed away Saturday morning, June 29th, 2002 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Memorial Site. Born in Kapuskasing, he married Cecile (Beausoleil) in Lavigne in 1946. Leonard grew up in Lavigne, moving to Sudbury in 1947 and living the past 42 years in Azilda. He was a heavy equipment mechanic with the City of Sudbury, retiring in 1979 with 20 years service. A devout Roman Catholic, he attended Ste. Agnes Church. He was a well respected 4th Degree Knight of Columbus belonging to the Bishop Adolphe Proulx Assembly and the Ste. Agnes Council #11559, Azilda. Leonard loved life having many interests which included woodworking, gardening and reading (especially regarding history). He enjoyed music, especially playing the violin. A gifted Mr. Fix-It, he was always quick to help others. Leonard was devoted to his loving family and happiest when in their company. He took great pride in their activities and interests and now will be their guardian angel in Heaven. Beloved husband of Cecile (Beausoleil) St. Georges of Azilda. Loving father of Jean-Claude (wife Shirley) of Hanmer, Michel (wife Lorraine) of Azilda, Yves pre- deceased 1992 and Marielle (husband Denis Brunette) of Hanmer. Cherished grandfather of Patrick, Sheila (husband Dan), Donna, Andre, David, Stephane and Serge; great grandchildren Danyka, D.J., and Mykenzie. Dear son of Noe and Dolorese St. Georges pre- deceased. Dear brother of Laurin of Sturgeon Falls, Leo-Paul (wife Annette) of Lavigne, Emmerance Lapierre of Sudbury, Dolorese Malette and Cecile Diamond both of Hanmer, Denise Bock (husband Jacques) of Sudbury and the late Therese Lacasse and Diane Beausoleil both predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in Ste. Agnes Church, Azilda on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Chelmsford Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Soul Campaign would be appreciated.
