CORBEIL, Laurette Marie (nee Cantin) In loving memory of Laurette Marie (nee Cantin) Corbeil, 90 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Sunday evening, September 19th, 2004 at the Extendicare-Falconbridge, Sudbury. She was born in Astorville and married Hector Corbeil in 1939 in Corbeil. A long time Bancroft Drive resident, always quick to help others, Laurette was very active in community groups including the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary #564 Lockerby and the Royal Purple Lodge. She enjoyed dancing, hunting, fishing and camping and she was an accomplished fiddle player with a great affinity for music. Laurette had a wonderful sense of humour which she generously shared with others. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Beloved wife of Hector Corbeil predeceased 1965. Loving mother of Roland (wife Annette) and Fernand (wife Yvette) both of Sudbury, Lionel (wife Peggy) of Airdrie, Alberta, Robert (wife Mel) of Mississauga, Ronald and Valerie both of Calgary, Hector of Sudbury and Gerry (wife Mary) of Naughton. Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Emile and Aurore (Groulx) Cantin predeceased. Dear sister of Henri and Rene Cantin, Alice Waltenbury, Jeannette Fichaud, Rose Oulette- Trahan and Therese Hotte all of North Bay and the late Simone Laframboise, Antoinette Gravel, Zin, Ernest and Oscar Cantin all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Thursday, September 23rd, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
