The death of Karen Dorothy Campbell wife of Jim Campbell of Miramichi occurred on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the age of 58. Born in Miramichi, NB, Karen was the daughter of the late Clayton and Mary (Bushey) McFarlane. Karen was a homemaker and was employed with Zeller's for many years. Karen is survived by two sons: Robert (Bobby) and Joseph (Joey) both of Miramichi, NB; two sisters: Mary Morrison (Mike) and Wanda Prince (Doug) all of Miramichi, NB. three brothers: Laurie (Ellen Cook) of Lower Newcastle, NB; Clayton (Sharen) of Fort McMurray, AB and George of Miramichi, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother Brian. Visitation was held at Bell's Funeral Home on Monday from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 10 AM with Father Bob McGuire officiating. Organist and Soloist was Jacqueline Allain. Readings were read by Shanna McFarlane and Stacey (McFarlane) Watt; Prayers of the Faithfull were read by Heather Manuel. Eulogy was given by Doug Prince. Active Pallbearers were: Bradley McFarlane, Darren Morrison, Stan Watt, Melem Russell, Joe Foran and John Sullivan. Honorary Pallbearers were: Frank Skidd, Vince Guyader, George Matheson, Wayne Bushey, Jim Jenkins and Jeff Foran. Burial will take place in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring. Please note: Vigil Prayers will be held on Tuesday @ 1:30 PM at the Funeral Home. In Karen's memory a donation may be to the Canadian Cancer Society or a memorial of ones choice.
