Avis de décès de Joseph-R. Webster


Joseph R. Webster Retired RCMP Constable Suddenly due to complications of Diabetes Joe passed away on May 8, 2002. He is survived by his parents Joe and Betty Webster (nee Joyce) and sister Dody Guindon (Denis). Joe was predeceased by his sister Cathy and his grandparents George and Dorothy Joyce. He was born in Korbecke, Germany. He attended High School in Soest and Lahr Germany and LaSalle Secondary School, Kingston. He was accepted into the RCMP on February 15, 1974 as a bilingual Constable and retired on April 15, 1994. He served in Val Dor, Quebec, Sault Ste Marie and Ottawa Ontario. He completed many RCMP qualification courses. Joe enjoyed drawing cartoons and received an award from the Rideau Valley Art Show. He played the guitar and drums in the Church band while in Depot Training, Regina, Sask. Joe also played the organ at his Sister’s wedding. Joe will be sadly missed by his niece Danielle and husband Alastair Ross and nephew Guy Guindon. Also by Aunt Beth and Uncle Bob Simpson and his cousins Roberta Johnston, George and wife Shelly and Jim Simpson. Funeral was held May 11, 2002 with Rev. Bruce Sweet officiating.
