Avis de décès de Joseph-Maurice-Roger Alain

Peacefully Sunday June 30, 2002 at the age of 71 years after a brief but brave battle with cancer. Maurice Alain, beloved husband for forty-eight years and ten children of Anne (Comeau). Loving father of Adrien (Ginger), Eric (Ann), Bernard, Paulette, Thomas, James, Karen (Clive), Margaret (Paul), Audrey and Peter (Wendy). Devoted grandfather of 19 grandchildren. A native of Bathurst, New Brunswick and a retired Public Service employee in various regions and in various capacities for 30 years. Mr. Alain also served as choir director in parishes within the Ottawa-Hull archdiocese. A special thank you to Dr. Coulombe, the staff and doctors at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus, Palliative Unit, and all who contributed to make the journey with us. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd, Orleans Thursday July 4, 2002 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday July 5, 2002 at Good Shepherd Church, 3092 Innes Road, Orleans for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation appreciated.
