CARR, Joseph 1928 - 2009 Joe passed away peacefully at home on May 1st following a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Bev, his children Dave (Roberta), Lorraine (Mike), David, Jo-Anne (Larry) and Lynda (Jose), Lorne (Andrea) and by his grandchildren Paul, Sarah, Jessica and Dyllon. He was the cherished brother-in-law and loyal friend of Wayne (Karen), Jack, Cathy (Bob) and Carol. Joe will also be deeply missed by his family in England - sister Lil, niece Carol and nephew John. Heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Care Team - Dr. Farncombe, Dr. Bright, Dr. Engelhardt and Max, as well as the nurses from Bayshore Home Health. There will be a memorial for family and friends with a legion tribute held at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 638, 70 Hines Road, Kanata, on Wednesday, May 6th at 12 pm.
