MACFARLANE, John Wilbert "Bill" Veteran WWII Peacefully at home on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Hazel Macfarlane (nee Parker). Loving father of John (Christine), Joyce, and Heather (Don). Beloved grandfather of Tammy, Amanda, Jennifer, Katie, Jeffrey, Adam, and Emily, and great-grandfather of Grant and Eric. Predeceased by brothers Bruce and Hugh and by sister Marion. Friends may pay their respects at the Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd., (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.), on Tuesday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
