BELAIR, Edward (Eddy) - At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, on Saturday, June 30, 2007. Jean Edward (Eddy) Belair of Alexandria; age 89 years. Beloved husband of Fernande Belair (nee Chopin). Dear father of Aline Lauzon of Alexandria, Jeanine Aberzger of Smiths Falls, Suzanne Dixon (Robert) of Perth, Michel Belair (Sarah) of Cambridge, Yvan Belair (Jane) of Edmonton, Alberta and Marc Belair of Rockland. Predeceased by his children, Fernand, Jacques, Huguette, Luc, Yves and Jeanne D'Arc as well as 5 brothers and sisters. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Relatives and friends may call at the MUNRO & MORRIS FUNERAL HOMES LTD., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Eglise Sacré-Coeur, on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Sacré-Coeur Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Hawkesbury & District General Hospital Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
