CALDWELL, James R. "Chief", "Jimmy" Retired Ottawa Police Sergeant Member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 595 Moose Lodge Member In hospital after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer on March 5, 2007 at the age of 69 years. Dear son of the late James Caldwell and Maria Caldwell. Beloved husband and best friend of Monique Beaulac. He will be sadly missed by his children Lorne, Robert (Mary), Janice (Steve); stepfather of Gilles (Mary), Luc, Marc (Cindy) and Mario (Wilma). He will also be missed by his 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Cherished brother of Joan (Gus Gaudreau), June Wilson, Myra (Jimmy McWhirter), John (Sue). A special heartfelt thanks to the doctor Andre Gauthier (Lorainne) and to Tanya Craft (nurse at Ottawa General Hospital) for their professional and compassionate care. A Memorial service will be held on Monday March 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home 180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa 613-241-3680.
