James Randy R. Neill, 51, suddenly passed away April 26, in Quincy. James was born in Boston but was a longtime resident of Quincy. He had many professions, an oil burner technician for 30 years, a tractor trailer driver and instructor, a Quincy auxiliary fireman, a Quincy constable as well as being an exceptional auto mechanic. James loved American motorcycles, trucks, and old cars especially the 55 Chevys. James was the beloved soul mate of Maureen Hayward of Quincy; and the cherished father of Christopher Ritchie of Bristow, Va. He was the son of the late Edward Kenneth Neill; and brother of the late Kenny J. Neill. James was also a dear friend of Stephen Ritchie and Jennifer Ritchie of Quincy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian burial Monday, May 2, at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7 p.m. in the Lydon Chapel for Funerals, 644 Hancock St., Quincy. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
