Mr. James F. Waugh, of Saugus, MA died June 8, 2014 with his family by his side at the age of 78 after a lengthy illness. Jim grew up in Lynn, MA and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, Class of 1956. Jim was a member of the 1955-1956 Lynn English High Hockey Team which won the state championship with a perfect season (18-0-0). After graduation, Jim was drafted into the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged and spent 42 years working at Coca Cola, driving a tractor trailer for most of those years. Jim enjoyed coaching his older sons in Saugus Little League, spending summers in the back yard grilling and swimming, boating and fishing with his kids. Jim also liked tinkering with his cars and trucks, playing cribbage and horseshoes and spending time in New Hampshire. He is predeceased by his wife of 51 Years, Millie Waugh. Jim is survived by his six children: Jimmy Waugh, Billy Waugh, Ann Marie Waugh of Saugus, MA; Liz Waugh, Judy Waugh and Joe Waugh of Peabody, MA; daughter-in-law Kim (Cieri) Waugh of Peabody, MA; three grandchildren Amanda, Nicholas and Michael and sister Barbara Waugh of Lynn, MA. Per his wishes, there will be no visiting hours and the burial service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jims memory to the Saugus Veterans Council, 44 Taylor Street, Saugus, MA 01960.
