OBITUARY JAMES CHRISTOPHER MCDONNELL It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jim, on January 29, 2007. He left us peacefully at the West Island Palliative Care Residence after a brave battle with cancer. He was the "Perfect Husband" and will sadly be missed by Cheryl, the very proud and loving father of Joanna and Sandra, and father-in-law of Marc Boudreau. Brother of Alexander (Huguette), Mary Frances (Gerald DeRochie), and Bernie (Helen), and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jim retired from CN Rail after a long and rewarding career as a Senior Executive Officer in Financial Planning and served as a city councellor in Roxboro for 10 years. Special thanks to Kim Jesse at the Lakeshore General Hospital, and our good friends, neighbours, and golfing buddies. Jim's sense of humour, wisdom, and generosity will be greatly missed. Visitation will be at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, D.D.O., 514-685-3344 on Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 2-5 p.m., and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Mary Queen of Peace Parish, 11075 Gouin Blvd. W., Roxboro, on Friday, February 2, 2007 at 10 a.m. and from there to the Rideau Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 1/31/2007
