Caldwell, James A. Lifetime resident of Shanty Bay. Beloved husband for 53 years of Reta (Leach). Passed away after a brave struggle on Monday, August 26th, 2002 at Sunnybrook Medical Centre. Much loved father of Nancy and Pat Moore, Wendy and Oleh Halkewycz, Susan Caldwell and Steve Jensen, Paul and Heather Caldwell. Special father of Nick Clemens (Dora) and Dave Barker. Grandfather of Julie and Greg Scanlan, Craig Trawczynski (Erin), Jenn Graungaard, Brandy Laurier (Johnny) and Cheri Laurier, and P.J. and Corey Caldwell. Great Grandfather of Mackenzie and Lucas. Brother of George (Edna), and sister Kathaleen (and the late Al Trumbley), and the late Irene. Fond brother-in-law of Ed and Loretta Leach, Joan and Ron Ward, Shirley and Ron Barron, Ruby Penman, Ellen and Ron Spencer, and Gloria Leach. Son of the late Lillie and Ewen Caldwell. Son-in-law of Clifton Ward and the late Sylvia. Sadly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, Clapperton and Worsley Streets, Barrie on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Friday August 30th, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. Interment Guthrie Cemetery.
