OBITUARY Hugh (Bill) Alexander McPherson May 6, 1916 - April 23, 2005 Bill passed away peacefully at the Lakeshore General Hospital on Saturday, April 23 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimers Disease. He leaves his devoted and loving wife of 55 years Audrey, his daughters Linda (Hrycyk) and Gail, his son-in-law, Daniel Hrycyk, and his three adoring grandchildren, Alexander, Victoria and Caroline. Caroline writes: eyes fill up with Tears You hold his hand tight He might not seem to remember But his heart whispers Good Night>> Bill was a loyal employee of Canada Steamship Lines for 32 years. In 1981, he continued to work for The Traffic Club of Montreal until his retirement in 1986. He was also a Masonic brother and Past Worshipable Master. Bill was a humanitarian and good samaritan who would go out of his way to come to the aid of total strangers. Most of all Bill loved to laugh and spread his special brand of cheer. He enjoyed life and lived it to its fullest, a man whose family would always come first. ..Rest peacefully Daddy. We will carry you in our hearts always... Private services will be held.
