MOREHOUSE, HELEN MAVIS - The death of Helen Mavis Morehouse, wife of the late Lloyd Morehouse, occurred on November 2, 2003, at her residence. Born in Geary, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lorne E. and Agnes M. (Foss) Carr. She was employed as a waitress with the Wandlyn Hotel in Saint John. She is survived by her son Philip and his wife Amy of Saint John,daughters Phyllis Schaefer and her husband Manfred of Niagara on the Lake, Faye McNamara and her husband Harold of Moncton, NB, her son-in-law David Hachey of Saint John, her brothers Stewart (Ethel) Carr of Minto, Allen Carr of Saint John, Howard Carr of Acamac, her sisters Ruby (Ron) Bishop of Calgary, Nora (Bernard) Wilson of Grand Bay, Temple (Francis) Carr of Hoyt, her eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Carolyn Hachey, her sisters Melda Gillet, Isabel Mills, and her brothers William and Leo Carr. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from7-9 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2003, at 11:00 AM from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
