HELEN I. RITCHIE-- BURLINGTON — Helen I. Ritchie, 95, died in Birchwood Terrace Healthcare March 11, 2005. Helen was born in Burlington, Oct. 4, 1909, daughter of Joseph and Ida (Fortino) Lefebvre. She worked as a housekeeper for private homes and later for Birchwood Terrace for many years. She is survived by her son, Raymond Ritchie of Hawaii; her sister, Lena Audette of Winooski; her granddaughters, Lisa Brown, Laury Christoforo, Leslie Mourer, and Lynn Brigam; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. The family would like to thank the Birchwood Special Care Unit for all the tenderness and loving care given to Helen and her family during her stay there. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in New Mount Calvary Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. Arrangements are by Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Directors.
