SHAVER, Harold Shaver. Peacefully, after a long illness, Kenneth Harold Shaver passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2000 at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of seventy-eight years. Kenneth will be lovingly remembered by wife Beverly, children, Diane (Andrew) Haines, Karen, and Ron, grandchildren, Chris and Jen Haines, brother Robert and sister Helen, both of Montreal. Ken served three years during the Second World War with the Navy. He attended McGill University in Montreal receiving a Bachelor of Commerce and then worked for Cargill Grain for thirty-two years. A private family service and interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wish to thank the staff of 6W Deer Lodge Centre for their care and concern during Ken's stay.
