Gregory Patrick Jennings 1960-2012 Gregory Patrick Jennings of Saint John NB passed away unexpectedly on February 15th at his home in Saint John. Born in Saint John NB in 1960 he was the son of Gregory (deceased) and Rita (Cormier) Jennings. Gregory was employed as a credit counselor with Credit Counselling Services of Atlantic Canada and much beloved by staff and appreciated by clients for his dedication and understanding. Previous to this, he managed a financial business that allowed him to form both professional and personnel friendships with personnel working in financial sectors throughout Saint John and area. If you talked to anyone who knew Gregory, the first adjectives to describe him were always happy and fun loving. He was an avid lover of both music and movies. Unlike the grinch who stole xmas, Gregory's kindness resulted in a heart that was "two times too big". If you took a pinch of Yogi Bear and a half a cup of Uncle Buck you would have the perfect recipe for Gregory Patrick Jennings. At his local Tim Horton's, nary a day would pass when his smiling face did not appear looking for a large regular. He will be sadly and surely missed by all who knew him. Greg is survived by his mother Rita Jennings, and his two sisters, JoAnne (Brenda) of Saint John and Catherine of Vancouver and his three brothers, Paul (Heather), Kevin, of Fredericton NB, Wayne (Beryl) of Kelowna BC, and his nephew Ryan also of Fredericton. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and their children. He was predeceased by his father Gregory of Saint John. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 1:00 pm followed by a reception and celebration of Gregory’s life where many lies and stories will be told. Oh, to be a fly on that wall. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to New Brunswick Cancer Society.
