George lived a full, and generous life as a husband, father, grandfather, musician, collector, photographer, sports car enthusiast and hobbyist. Above all, George was a loving husband to Phyllis for forty-eight years and a wonderful father to Brenda and Dave. George was born in Edmonton on May 11, 1923. George began his career with GMAC Finance prior to joining Cyanamid Canada where he spent thirty-four years as an award winning salesman. He made many life-long friends on the road throughout Western Canada, and retired in 1987. Music continued to be a big part of his life, playing clarinet and saxophone in the Calgary Concert Band for many years. He was an avid collector and at one time had Western Canada's largest antique camera collection. He also won numerous awards for his photography.
