CARR, FREDERICK GEORGE Frederick George Carr, 93, of Jacksonville, NB, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at his residence. Fred was born in Elmwood, NB, on May 20, 1914, son of the late Calvin and Maude (Griffin) Carr. Fred is survived by his wife, Jessie (miller) Carr; children, Carolyn Kirkland (John), Waterville, NB, Donna Cole (Gerald), Debert, NS, Barbara Anderson (Fred), Jacksonville, NB, Charles (Elaine), Jacksonville, NB, Mary Clarke (Gary), Fredericton, NB, Clarence (Wanda), Pembroke, NB, Donald (Darlene), Jacksonville, NB, Melinda Lawrence (Lionel), Knoxford, NB; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; sisters, Pat Culligan, Lillian Williams; special friend, Edith; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by a son, Carl; brothers; Floyd, Allen, sisters; Faye, Eunice, and Evelyn. Visitation will be held at the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB, on Thursday, February 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 22 from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Rev. Paul Wellwood officiating. Interment will be in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jacksonville United Baptist Church Building Fund or a memorial of the donor's choice.
