Mr. Franklin George (Frank) Carr April 25, 1919 - September 12, 2008 - Carr, Franklin George (Frank) Peacefully at the Fairmount Home, Kingston on Friday September 12, 2008 at the age of 89 years. Frank was born in South River, Ontario. Loving husband of Aileen (Thurston) Carr (Deceased 1993). Dear father of Yvonne Nykilchyk (Walter deceased) of Sudbury, Sandra Dawson (deceased), Sharon St. Amand (Frank deceased) of Sudbury, Donald Carr (Ann) of Belleville, Debra Roy (Glenn) of Kingston, Cindy Vos (Partner Ron Robertson) of Kitchener. Fondly remembered by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Retired from CNR Frog Shop in 1979 after 42 years of service. Avid hunter and fisherman in his younger days and enjoyed wee trips to the casino. Many thanks to the care-givers at Paramed and Fairmount Home for the extra care and attention given to our father the past year. Special thanks to "CARA" his guardian angel. The family will receive friends at the Burke Funeral Home 150 Church St. Belleville on Sunday September 14, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Frank's life will take place at St. Thomas Anglican Church 201 Church St. Belleville on Monday September 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Final place of rest Belleville Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Fairmount Home (Garden) would be gratefully appreciated. "Rest In Peace DAD" We will miss you!
