Frank Louis Babin, 56, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary. He was a resident of Pride and a longtime employee of Holmes Building Materials. A memorial service will be held at a later date as he wished to donate his body to the Department of Anatomical Sciences. Survived by his wife of 29 years, Judy Pettitt Babin; a daughter, Brandi Nicol Babin; a sister, Becky Babin Cambre; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Irma Pettitt; a sister-in-law, Sandra Pettitt; nieces and nephews, Traci Williams, Michael and Becky Cambre, Melissa and Michael Lingle, and Marc and Cindy Cambre; great-nieces and great-nephew, Michelle and Donald Quintana, Adrianne Cambre and Alyssa Lingle; a godchild, Tathia Haydell Lambert; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Corrine Woods Babin and Fellman Joseph Babin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Association or your favorite charity.
