Eva M. DuMouchel, 93, of South Windsor, widow of Gerard DuMouchel, died Sunday, (December 18, 2005) at a local nursing home. Born in Fall River, MA on October 30, 1912, daughter of the late Michael and Olive (Cournoyer) Antaya, she had lived in South Windsor for the last 55 years. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church, South Windsor, the Ladies Guild of St. Francis of Assisi and the Senior Center of South Windsor. Mrs. DuMouchel leaves a son, Robert G. DuMouchel, Sr. of Ellington; a grandson, Robert G. DuMouchel, Jr. of South Windsor; and a great granddaughter, Miranda L. Bassage. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Diane (DuMouchel) Bassage. Family and friends may gather, Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., in St. Francis of Assisi Church. Entombment will be in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Her family will receive friends, Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
