MAYHEW, EmileIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emile Mayhew at the Hull hospital on January 22, 2017 at the age of 94. He was surrounded by Anna Milliken, his cherished wife of 71 years, and his devoted family. He will be forever remembered by his children: Earl (Betty), Steve (Lorraine), Debbie (Keith), Kathy (Gerry), Patty (Peter), late Bruce (2006) and late Gary (1948). He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Emily Richard Mayhew and sister Gertrude as well as brothers Earl, Wellington, Denzil and Melvin. He will be missed by his sisters: Ida (late John Stephens) of Kincardine and Doris (Martin McCabe) of Sarnia and his brother Brian. He was well known for being a family man and will never be forgotten by his loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Maison Funeraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home, 47 Denise-Friend, Gatineau (Aylmer), Québec J9H 3A8 on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held at Christ Church,101 Symmes Street, Gatineau (Aylmer), QC J9H 3K6 on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
