WEBSTER, Elliott Joseph - Peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 in his 93rd year. Elliott Joseph Webster of Lucknow, formerly of Forest. Elliott is predeceased by his loving wife and best friend Joan and eldest son David. Survived by his devoted companion Jean Whitby of Lucknow. Elliott will be sadly missed by children Phil and Julia of London, Rick and Ruth of Bright's Grove, Lyn and Wes of Pennville, Mac and Colleen of Forest, Neal and Ruth of Iowa City, Iowa and predeceased by son in law Bill Jay. Special grandpa to Melanie, Andrew, Hugh, Cody (Tara), Katy, Cole, Scotty, Jimi, Daniel, Duncan, Alison and William. Also survived by great grandchildren Austin, Brandon and Rhys. Elliott will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Elliot was truly blessed by being a part of the Whitby family in Lucknow. Proudly served his country from 1939-1945. Visitation will be held at the RONN E. DODGE FUNERAL HOME in Forest (James at Watt St.) on Friday, November 7th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9pm with Royal Canadian Legion Br. #176 conducting a Legion Service at 6:30pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Forest United Church (21 James St. North) on Saturday, November 8th at 1pm with Rev. Cathy Larmond officiating. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences may be left online at www.dodgefuneralhome.com. Legion memorial will take place in Lucknow at the Lucknow Legion, Branch #309 on Sunday, Nov. 9th at 4pm. In memory of Elliott, a living tribute has been planted.
