Elaine F. (Hughes) Sheehan of Dorchester died June 27, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Sheehan, she was the loving daughter of the late Francis and Anna Hughes of Dorchester; devoted sister of the late Nancy Harrington; caring aunt of Joseph, Ann, Margie, Elaine, Kathleen, Theresa, Tom, John, and Helen. Enjoyed her longtime friendship with Frannie, Jackie, Cissy, Linda, and Mary; cousin of the Hughes family; and aunt of the Sheehan family; great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Retired, she was a manager at New England Telephone Company for many years. Visiting hours in the John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd.), Dorchester, Monday 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass in St. Brendan's Church, Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
