Edward P. Kelley, of Milton, formerly of Weymouth, died unexpectedly, Jan. 1. Eddie Papa was the adoring husband of Dorothy A. (Curtis) for 57 years. He was a loving, caring, compassionate man whose family and friends meant the world to him. He was the father of eight children: Edward Jr. of Scituate, Michael and his wife Deborah of Quincy, Brian and his wife Hilary of Milton, Jean Long and her husband Michael of Hanover, Kathleen Ready and her husband David of Westwood, Mary Kelley and her husband Martin OToole of Scituate, Diane Sayers and her husband Mark of Quincy, Margaret Kelley and her husband Chris Fitzpatrick of Attleboro. Papa was cherished by 14 grandchildren: Michael, Mark, Erin, Crystal, Douglas, Scott, Michelle, Patrick, Steven, Ian, Morgan, Nicole, Marlena and Sean; and by six great- grandchildren: Isabella, Norah, Justin, Camryn, Gianna and Richard. Eddie was the devoted brother of Paul, John and James Kelley, and the late William Kelley Jr. and Claire Bell. He was loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian burial Friday, Jan. 6 at 10 a.m. in St. Gregorys Church, 2223 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 p.m. in the Lydon Chapel for Funerals, 644 Hancock St., Quincy.
