LaCROIX, Edward Charles - Peacefully with loving family at his side, at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Wednesday October 24th, 2007 in his 91st, year. Ed LaCroix of Orillia beloved husband of the late Marie Joan (Betty) LaCroix (nee Calhoun). Loving father of Marlene (Molly) Boyd of Orillia and Wayne LaCroix and his wife Janet of North Bay. Loving grandfather of Rick Mainer and his wife Debbie (Wilkie), Lisa and her husband Michael Doherty all of Orillia, and Andrew LaCroix and his wife Irene-Ann, Stacey and Corby LaCroix all of Ottawa. Devoted great grandfather of Jason and Blake Mainer and Stella and Claire LaCroix. Fondly remembered by Pat LaCroix. Ed is predeceased by his sister Harriet and his brothers Herbert, Walter and Dave. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held at the SIMCOE FUNERAL HOME-38 James Street E. Orillia on Sunday October 28th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Monday October 29th, at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Prostrate Cancer Research Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family. 10880470
