Avis de décès de Edith-Pearl Webster


JOHNSTON, EDITH P.- The death of Edith Pearl Johnston formerly of Charlton Place, Saint John, wife of the late Murray Johnston, occurred peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Center in Hampton, NB, following a brief period of failing health. Born in Fortune Bridge, PEI on August 8, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Ada (Cobb) Webster. Edith was a "Right Honourable" with the Maple Leaf Glades #1. She loved darts, playing cards, doing puzzles, and making dish clothes and banana breads for everyone. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by two sons, Wayne (Florence) of Calgary, AB and Fred of Saint John, two daughters, Carol Maher (Stan Goguen) of Hampton and Sharon Langille (Wayne) of Saint John, one granddaughter, Laurie Maher, six grandsons, Chuck Maher, David, Derek and Darren Langille, Dwayne and Peter Johnston, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 2:30 PM. Interment in Old Cedar Hill Cemetery. Remembrances to the Dr. V.A.
