Marshfield Dorothy T. (Barnicle) Rafuse, Scituate, died on March 5, 2008 age 90 at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth after a brief illness. Wife of the late James H. Rafuse, Sr. Born and raised in Waltham, she was a Scituate resident for 32 years before moving to Marshfield 5 years ago, graduate of St. Marys H.S., Waltham and Burdett Business College, Boston. She worked as an administrator for Davidson Fan, Waltham and Paper Sails, Scituate before retiring, hobbies were arts, crafts, cooking and travelling. Member of Reserve Officers Assoc. and Retired Officers Assoc. Ladies Auxiliary. Loving mother of James Jay H. Rafuse, Jr. and his Fianc Alison Beagle of Marshfield Grandmother of Erin, Kirsten and Sophia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Michael J. and Annie T. (Coleman) Barnicle. Sister of the late Joseph Barnicle, Alice Close, Marion Riley and Gertrude Mullin. Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate on Tuesday, March 11 at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate at 9 a.m. Visiting hours 4-8 p.m. on Monday.
