HAWKEN, Dorothy Jean Suddenly on Tuesday, February 3, 2004. Dorothy will be remembered and sorely missed by her family and many friends. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother to her sons Brian, Steven and daughter-in-law Dorothy and their daughter Emma. Dear sister and aunt to Donald and his wife Vivian and their daughters Andrea and Melanie. Predeceased by her parents Dorothy and George Nicol, and survived by uncle Ted Baker as well as dear cousins Joan and Jean. In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, cremation will be immediate. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2004 in Cataraqui Cemetery in Kingston. Family and friends are requested to assemble at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (Counter Street at Highway 2), Kingston, by 12:45 pm with the service in the cemetery to begin at 1pm, The Reverend Fergy Wilson officiating. A reception will follow in the James Reid Reception Centre. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Gananoque Humane Society or to the Big Brothers Association of Kingston and District would be appreciated by the family.
