HASTINGS, Donna-Jane (D.J.) - 1959- 2007 - Peacefully at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Donna-Jane was courageous and up beat throughout her illness, bringing peace to all who spent time with her. Cherished daughter of Donald and Georgina Hastings, loving sister of Douglas Hastings of St. Catharines, David (Kim) Hastings of London, beloved aunt of Diana, Derrick, Tyler, Dillon and Carter, dear granddaughter of Elsie Tebbutt, dear niece of Shirley (Tom) Reily, Margaret Jackson, David (Bob) Hastings all of St. Catharines, Iris (BIll) Stone of Thorold. She will be sadly missed by her many, many cousins. Donna-Jane was a teacher for the Niagara District Board of Education and was currently teaching at Sheridan Park School. Donna-Jane is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. where family will receive friends on Thursday 7 - 9 p.m. and Friday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Niagara or the St. Catharines General Hospital Cancer Care Centre. 10832465
