NORRIS, Donelda (Donna) Helen - September 16, 1923 - November 5, 2008. Donna Norris, age 85, was called home peacefully by her heavenly father on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Bluewater Health, C.E.E. Site, Petrolia, surrounded by her loved ones after a lengthy illness. Donna will be remembered for her devotion to God, love for her family, commitment to her wide circle of friends and her peaceful embrace of a life lived simply and sincerely. No one understands this more than the people from the Sarnia jail that enjoyed the library she helped create. Donna was passionate about volunteering and her efforts were greatly appreciated by many. Beloved wife of the late Richard Norris. Loving mother of Helen (Tom) Ellenor, Joan (Paul) Reid, Barbara (Kim) Muller, Randy (Lynn) Norris and the late Richard Norris. Cherished grandmother of John and Mikki, Melody, Shaun and Tanya, Joy and Stan, Harmony and Dan, Miranda and Roger, Ian and Rachael, Eric, Abby and Emily and blessed with great grandchildren Josh, Destiny, Brianna, Lucas, Aiden, Tommy, Maggie, Lincoln, Jimmy, Devyn and Brooklyn. Predeceased by brothers Robert and Jack and sister Wilma. Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 10, 2008 at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. only. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sarnia. Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
