CARD, Donald Peacefully in hospital in Perth on Tuesday, October 14th, 2008 Donald Card (former partner of Byway Lumber Limited) in his 82nd year. Beloved partner of Jean Ferguson. He will be sadly missed by his children Neil Card (Sue Ronald) of Ottawa, Treba (Dave) Garrett of Bowmanville and Roland Card (Sharon Ferguson) of Perth and was predeceased by their mother Marjorie Doreen (Atwood) Card. Cherished grandfather of Matt Garrett (Diana), Kate Garrett (Ken), Amber Card (Mike) and Desiree Card; great-grandfather of Jack and Ethan Garrett. Dear brother of Isabell (late Bruce) Kennedy, Mary Davern and Eva (George) Giles; he will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, all his family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Wednesday, October 15th, 2008 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in Balderson United Church on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by reception in the Church hall. Interment, St. James Anglican Cemetery, Mountain Grove. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Balderson United Church would be appreciated.
