Diane Marie Zaparniuk (nee Normand) It is with profound sadness that after a lengthy and valiant struggle, we announce the passing of our Dearly beloved Wife, Grandma, Great Grandma, sister and friend Diane, who passed away very peacefully and with dignity at the Concordia Hospital on February 20, 2003 at the age of 63 years. Diane was predeceased by her son Albert in 2000, Mother Marguerite in 1965, Father Joseph Albert in 1978, her brothers Jean and Marcel in 2000, and seven brothers and sister in infancy. Diane leaves to mourn her passing her Dearly beloved husband and friend Len. Also left are her Grandchildren Kevin and Heide, Keith and Jen, and Jeffrey Reimer, and her two Great Grand-daughters Alexis and Tiffany Reimer. Also left are her beloved brothers and sisters, Reine (Alex) Lupky, Bibiane of Arborg, Manitoba. Priscilla (George) Normand of Rathwell, Manitoba, Roland of Richmond, British Columbia, Rudy and Connie of Winnipeg and Cecilia (Richard) Hermary of Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. Also left to mourn Diane is her Mother-in-law May Zaparniuk and three step-children Rob and Sue, Len and Angie Zaparniuk, and Judy and Tony Lepage of Vancouver, British Columbia and her two step Grand-daughters Kristin and Jenny Zaparniuk. She also leaves a sister-in-law Florence Normand and many nieces and nephews. The family is very grateful for the excellent care, compassion and support to the staff at the Concordia Hospital given to Diane during her six months stay in the hospital. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation. Diane was lovingly remembered in a private family gathering on Sunday, February 23, 2003 at 3:00 p.m.
