He is survived by his wife Claudette of Smooth Rock Falls, his mother Irène Mainville, 2 sons: Yvan husband of Angèle, Jino husband of Josée, 1 daughter Brigitte Graine wife of Guy all of Smooth Rock Falls, 3 sisters: Irène Goulet of Strickland, Jeannette Cloutier of Smooth Rock Falls, Denise Mainville of Timmins, 8 brothers: Raymond of Sarnia, André of Strickland, Maurice of Dryden, Rhéal of Smooth Rock Falls, Claude of Sarnia, Paul of Smooth Rock Falls, Yvon of Smooth Rock Falls, Réjean of Chapleau, as well as 2 grandchildren: Jonathan and Matthew. Denis Mainville was pre-deceased by his father Augustin, 1 brother: Norman and 1 granddaughter Vanessa. The funeral service was held on October 30 at the Ste Gertrude Church in Smooth Rock Falls. Burial followed at the Smooth Rock Falls Cemetery.
