CARR, A. DAVID Suddenly by accident, June 20th, the husband of Leslie (Worden). Born in Geary, the son of Ashley and the late Amanda (Smith) Carr. David was committed to community service having served in many areas - Scout Leader, St. Peter's Springhill; St. John Ambulance; Board of Directors Upper Nashwaak Arena; Board of Directors Nashwaak-Keswick Ambulance Service, devoted member Ruffed Grouse Society. He was very proud of his 34 years as a Forest Ranger with Department of Natural Resources, retiring as District Ranger, Fredericton in 2002. In addition to his wife and father, David is survived by his two loving sons, Andrew & Vicky of Stanley and Ryan & Sarah of Geary; two beautiful granddaughters, Bridget and Ashley; two sisters, Judianne & Weldon Carr and Teri-Sue & Steven Landry; all of Geary, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Monday, June 23rd, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Ken Weir officiating. Interment will follow in the Preston Carr Cemetery with a reception being held in the Geary Baptist Church Family Centre afterwards. For those who wish, memorial tributes in David's memory may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Breast Cancer or to the Geary, French Lake, Waterville Cemetery Committee. www.oromoctofh.com (357-5100)
