Oakley, Darlene Marie Babin A resident of Prairieville, she went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ at 2:10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005. She was 51. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18. Interment in Prairieville Community Cemetery, Prairieville. She is survived by her husband, Don Oakley; son, Dr. Derrek Oakley; daughters and sons-in-law, Joy and Phillip Valentine, Christy and Danny Glover, Rena and Roger Bye, Angel and Kenzie Bozeman and Chantel Ganaway; brothers and sisters-in-law, Coy and Rita Babin, Kerry and Sherry Babin and Kelley and Debbie Babin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Les Rice and Brenda and Dave Holthaus; eight grandchildren, Carley Oakley, Nick Bennett, Allie Bye, Hagan Glover, Hunter Glover, Kaylee Montz, Channing Glover and Ezra Ganaway; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pete and May Maurin and Joseph and Anna Babin; mother and father, Joseph and Elsie Babin; brother, Terry Babin; and niece, Laurie Back
