REGAN DANIEL "DAN" 1952-2004 The family announces with great sorrow his death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at the age of 51 years. Loving husband of Carole (nee Plouffe). Dear father of Shawn Regan (wife Trina) of Timmins and Chad Regan of Newmar-ket. Grandfather of Delaney and Madison Regan. Son of Emily Regan of Foleyet and the late James Regan (1984). Brother of Margaret Simmonds (husband George) of Ivanhoe Lake and uncle to Derek Simmonds of Alberta and Laurie Ann Simmonds of Pembroke. Son in-law of Aline Plouffe of Timmins and the late Lucien Plouffe (1997). Brother in-law of Raymond Plouffe (wife Janis), Richard Plouffe (wife Pat), Suzanne Lefebvre (husband Côme), Rachelle Plouffe (husband Perry Brennan) and Darquise Plouffe (husband Tim Hopkins) all of Timmins. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews with the Plouffe family. Dan was born in Foleyet on September 28, 1952 and has resided here in Timmins for close to 30 years. He loved to be outdoors especially at the lake either fishing, building a camp fire or even simply taking in the fresh air. He considered Opishing Lake his "first home". Funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, February 27, 2004 from St-Dominique Church. Cremation will follow. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
