Beloved husband of the former Isabel Grant. Dear father of George MacDonell (Karen) of Williamstown, Robert MacDonell (Louise) of Alexandria, Betty-Lee (Mrs. Gilles Glaude) of North Lancaster and AprilAnn MacDonell (wife of Robin McCubbin) of Toronto. Dear son of the late James Leonard MacDonell and the late Lillian Frances Phillips. Dear brother of Morgan MacDonell of South America and Mrs. Kathleen Beaulieu of Ottawa. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Resting privately at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482). Funeral Saturday, October 12, 2002 for Mass of Christian Burial at St Columban’s Parish Church at 2 p.m. followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, would be appreciated by the family.
