(P. Eng) Peacefully, Thursday, November 27, 2003. Charles Spencer Nicoll, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of 63 years of Gloria Clarke. Dear father of Penny (Wally) and Martha. Loving granddad of Sean, James and Lauren Coates, Chris and Andrew Coghlan, Michael and Michelle Nicoll. Much loved brother of Carol, Bill, Wesley, and Ken. Predeceased by son Charles, brothers Irvine and Bert, and sister Eva. Charlie was born and raised in Mira Gut, Cape Breton and graduated from Acadia and Nova Scotia Tech. Served with the Royal Canadian Corps of Engineers (Major) during WWII and retired from the civil service (CIDA). Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue (south of Fallowfield Rd.) Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday to St. Patrick's Church, Fallowfield, for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:30 a.m. In Memoriam, donations to the charity of your choice appreciated.
