Avis de décès de Cecile-C. Normand


VERO BEACH, FL - Cecile "Ceil" C. (Normand) Bernash, 82, of Vero Beach, FL and a longtime resident of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Sunday, July 10, 2005 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Chicopee on February 22, 1923, a beloved daughter of the late Osias and Anna (Archambault) Normand. She was raised on Chapel Street in the Aldenville section of Chicopee and later moved to Holyoke. She moved to the Willimansett section of Chicopee and in 1971 moved to Beauregard Terrace in Chicopee where she lived until moving to Vero Beach, Florida in 1999. She was employed for many years in the deli at Pat's Supermarket on Cabot Street in Holyoke. She was a communicant of Saint Rose de Lima Church in Aldenville. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rene J. Bernash who was Called Home on November 22, 1997 and her loving son, Richard R. Bernash who was Called Home on January 29, 2002. She leaves her loving children, Gerald R. Bernash and his wife Mayra of Pawtucket, RI and Pauline T. Cronin and her husband Brad of Sebastian, FL. Her loving daughter-in-law, Connie Williams of Monroe, NC. Her eight cherished grandchildren, Christopher Bernash, Marc Bernash, Michelle Baillargeon, Christine Winn, Scott Bernash, Keith Bernash, Kimberly Bernash and Gregory Bernash. Her 14 cherished great grandchildren. Her dear brother, Roger Normand and his wife Helen of Holyoke. Her dear sister, Elaine Bressette and her husband Roger of Chicopee and her many dear nephews and nieces. Her funeral will be held Friday morning, July 15, 2005 at 9:15 a.m. from the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, 13 Dale Street at the junction of Grattan Street in Chicopee followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street in Aldenville. Her burial will follow the Mass at Saint Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street in Aldenville. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home in the Rose Chapel on Thursday, July 14, 2005 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home off of Lafayette Street. For those who prefer to make a memorial donation, they may be made in her memory to the VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 or to the American Lung Association, 393 Maple Street, Springfield, MA 01105.
