Avis de décès de Catherine-Douglas Macfarlane

PROCTOR, Catherine Douglas (nee Macfarlane) Passed away peacefully on February 15th, 2009 at age 84. A loving mother, always generous of spirit, she will be greatly missed by her children Valerie McDonald (Lee) of Geneva, Kathleen Ladouceur (Roger) of Ottawa, Douglas Proctor of Calgary, and by their father, Les Proctor. She was the much loved grandmother of David and Christine Ladouceur and Matthew and Christian Proctor. Among lives touched over the years, she will be especially missed by Sharon Orsted of Calgary. Cath worked for many years with the map-making team of the Government of Canada and as a volunteer with Ex Libris at the Ottawa Public Library. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staffs of the Colonel By Retirement Residence and the Glebe Centre for their kindness and support, with special thanks to Judy Robertson-Scott. A memorial service will be held in Ottawa in April. For those wishing to make a donation in Caths memory, the family would suggest the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
