MAGEAU, Bernard The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Friday, February 3, 2006 at the age of 82 years. Son of the late Ubald and of the late Elise (nee Major) Mageau. Husband of the late Eveline Mageau (nee Martin) predeceased in 1997. Loving father of Germaine, Liette, Claire (Mike) and Irene. Cherished "Cranky" to his grandchildren Melissa (James), Jason and Jamie. Special "Pepere" to great grandson Tyler James. Dear brother of Reverend Sister Bibianne, f.d.l.s., Lucien (Rachelle), André (Thérèse), Marie Paule (Serge) and Monique. Predeceased by his brothers François, Jacques, Marc (Raymonde, surviving). Sadly missed by his nephews and nieces. Bernard was an avid outdoorsman. His summers were spent looking out onto the lake by campfires and were enjoyed to the fullest. He took great pride in telling life stories to all who knew him best. Woodworking and genealogy were also among his favorite pastimes and he never turned down a good game of cribbage. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Sunday evening from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday after 9:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bishop Roger Despatie Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
